Why is it interesting? The course will help to gain knowledge of adaptive technologies for people after strokes. Thanks to knowledge of modern adaptive technologies, people after strokes can relearn to function in society and get a chance to become independent, their family members will gain an understanding and concept of managing dependent people, understanding of adapting home space, adaptive technology specialists will gain knowledge of adaptive technology tools, self-service skills and prevention of complications.

Adaptive technologies for personal hygiene, organization of adaptive home space, selection of technical and orthopedic devices.
Functional exercises for restoring fine motor skills
Adaptive exercises for improving motor functions, coordination, cognitive skills
Functional exercises for restoring swallowing and chewing skills.
Nutrition rules after strokes. Products that increase and decrease the risk of strokes
Practical skills of dressing and undressing. Algorithms for moving people after a stroke
Form of classes. Synchronous online course for communication between teacher and students. The course involves practicing practical skills and an algorithm for moving people after a stroke, sitting along the edge of the bed, transferring to surfaces of the same and different heights, moving and securing people while standing and on stairs, dressing and undressing skills, and selecting exercises to restore fine motor skills, motor functions, and cognitive skills.
